Once the teeth are ready, composite material will be applied in multiple layers. Each layer will be individually hardened, and a new layer will be added until the tooth reaches the desired level of thickness. The bonding material will be allowed to harden completely, and the teeth will be buffed and polished in order to achieve a more natural and pleasing appearance. With proper care, the bonding should last for about ten years before requiring replacement.
